As the Prime Minister recently announced some additional measures to curb the recent spike in COVID-19 cases, we are conscious that our Clients may need some reassurance that we continue to take measures in protecting both yourselves and staff against the virus very seriously.
Staff will continue to wear protective face masks and/or visors to carry out care. They will also continue to adhere to our exceptionally high levels of PPE protection and infection control techniques to ensure that the environment is as safe as possible.
We have sourced additional training for staff on COVID-19 and protecting themselves and others against the spread of the virus.
We have made it mandatory that all staff sign up for the new NHS ‘Track & Trace’ app on their mobile phones. This application should assist in identifying risk locations but real time tracking and ‘checking in’ at certain registered locations.
We continue to take precautionary measures to safeguard you and your families. To reiterate, any additional steps taken by the company do not indicate that any members of staff are at additional risk to you, or that the COVID-19 virus is prevalent amongst staff and/or clients.
We have a robust contingency plan in place if cases continue to rise. You will be informed of this being initiated and or any likely disruption to service should it be required, but at present we can reassure you that it’s ‘business as usual’ and we will continue to adhere to our promise of putting your needs first.
